chapter 3
THE RACE BEGINS
THE RACE BEGINS
After some time Bob reached Sanfrancisco and had pulled over on the side of the road to get his bearings and try and work out where the elusive bullet run started. As he got out the car a piece of A4 paper was blown against his leg.
When he bent down and picked it up to read what it said he found that it was a poster advertising the bullet run! Bob worked out that it was an illegal street race from Sanfrancisco to New York and the winner( if there was one) would get $25 million! The race started on top of a hill and in Sanfrancisco there are a lot of hills so Bob had a lot to choose from. Suddenly, three cars drove past at incredible speed and leading them was an orange Lamborghini that was being driven by none other than Marty Potter. Now Bob knew why Marty had stolen that Porsche 3 months back. So he could enter this." Follow the super cars then." Bob sighed, got back in the Mustang, turned the key and set off in hot pursuit.
The nearer Bob got to the elusive hill the more cars joined him along with a very violent Subaru driver who, for no good reason, rammed a Porsche into a lamp post. This made Bob very angry so he pulled out his 9mm pistol and shot out the Subaru's tires. Out of 250 cars Bob was about 210. Heading along the golden gate bridge 5 police cars came out of nowhere and started to chase down the racers. On the dashboard of Bobs Mustang was a police scanner so he could hear every thing that the police were saying. " That super snake is out of control I'm going to pull him over." a cop said on the scanner. It was only then that Bob realised with horror that he was driving a Mustang with super snake badges all over it! He decided to just pullover and explain. When he did pull over and the cop came over to the door he realised that there was no nonsense with this man." Well well well a law enforcer joining in with the criminals, I thought better of you." he said with a smug grin on his face. " Actually I'm undercover and after a very dangerous escaped criminal so you've got to let me go." Bob replied, he was getting frustrated because the longer he was here he would be further away from the target than he was at the start!" Oh, sorry about that." the cop said, now feeling very stupid." Fine, and tell your friends to leave the super snake alone." Bob replied, and with a smile he was back in pursuit of Marty Potter.
