chapter 2
street racing
Meanwhile, 20 miles back north in Seacrest, a red and black Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 was pulling into a parking space at the beach in-between a Shelby Cobra and a Jeep. Out of the Camaro stepped 2 people. These were Bob Vila and Molly Reid. Even though Molly had only been in Seacrest a couple of months she was all ready more than just Bob Vila's girlfriend. She was his official crime solving partner but the only difference was that she was a lot more sensible.
"Now remember Bob, don't get distracted." Molly said to him. "Yeah, OK." He replied calmly but no sooner had they gone 10 steps on the sand, a girl in a bikini walked between the two of them. Molly saw Bob's head turn behind him and if an angry look could kill, Bob would be dead.- He didn't make that mistake again. After that Bob was very quiet for the rest of their time on the beach. As they were returning to the car ,at lunch time, a voice came over the police radio on the dashboard." Bob, your needed at Fairview police station immediately." The radio said. Without saying anything, he nodded at Molly, she ran round to the passenger side of the car. Bob slammed the Camaro ZL1 into reverse and spun it round in a cloud of tire smoke. He picked up the receiver on the radio. " This is Bob Vila. We're on our way.
Bob was waiting at the traffic lights on his way out of the city. He was getting board because they had been waiting here for nearly 5 minutes but then something came that threw all that boredom out the window. A blue Nissan GTR had just pulled up along side. Bob looked at the driver who nodded at him with a smile. He wanted to race. Molly could see what was going on in Bobs mind and knew that he had a habit of doing this so she sat back and braced herself for the ride.
