Bob Vila 3 RED WATER chapter 2

chapter 2
MOLLY REID

1 day later...

Screech!!! Was the only sound to be herd along the beach front car park in Seacrest. Bob Vila was busy doing doughnuts in a white 2005 Ford GT with blue stripes which he had just bought from SC MOTORS: exotic car specialists.
The sole reason behind all this rubber burning lunacy was 4 people sitting on a wall near him. They were girls and Bob was using smoke and spinning as an attempt to impress them but unfortunately it wasn't working. Despite this Bob didn't seem that bothered because he was having fun until a policeman came along and stopped him.

" For gods sake man your supposed to be enforcing the law not breaking it. Pull your self together."the now very angry cop shouted." Sorry boss." Bob said getting out the car. Then he turned his head and saw one of the girls coming towards him." Back of the net." Bob thought to himself." Good." the officer said." Have a nice day." As the cop walked away Bob was seriously considering reporting him to the chief but then he forgot about every thing. He felt a tap on the shoulder and when he spun round he realised it was the girl who had been walking towards him." Are you Bob Vila?" she asked." The very same." Bob replied with a smug grin on his face." Didn't you go all the way to Colorado and back to stop a criminal 3 weeks ago? Because if you did then that's really heroic."
" Yeah, that was me. so do you want to come for a drive?" Asked a very over confident Bob. When she replied with a yes Bobs brain just sort of melted. For once one of his hair brained schemes had actually worked and he had got a hot date.

Driving down the the coast road the fords 5.4 litre V8 engine made short work of the hills. When Bob started making polite conversation he found out that she was called Molly and had just moved to Seacrest from Texas. In Bobs mind Molly was very pretty. She was just a bit shorter than Bob who was 6 foot 1 and had long brown hair past her shoulders. Eventually they stopped in a park overlooking the sea on top of a hill. When the engine stopped and they sat themselves down on the grass Bob asked a question that kept silence in the air for quite some time." Do you like badgers?" he asked her." Badgers? Why?"
" Because I've got a framed picture of one at home." After this was said no one said anything for quite some time until the silence was shattered by a whirring sound in the air.
